The Vegas Bag’s story begins with founder HP’s quest for inspiration in Prince Albert, a quaint Western Cape town framed by the Swartberg Mountains. He encountered a bold restaurateur at a local restaurant who presented bills in a tiny handbag-shaped purse. Enchanted, HP reimagined the design into the “Nevada Bag,” later evolving into the Vegas silhouette, which is made in ostrich leather, ostrich leg, crocodile leather, and even Italian calf. Too small to fit most phones, this micro bag champions connection over distraction.
Originally ordering 500 frames (enough for retirement!), HP underestimated its allure—Winklmayr has crafted over 1,000 since. Now expanding into mini and upcoming maxi sizes, the Vegas remains a testament to curiosity, craftsmanship, and living fully in the moment.
